Method

Step

Peel the oranges and lemon, and chop the fresh turmeric and ginger

Blend all the ingredients, except for spirulina and black pepper, in a high-speed blender until smooth

Strain through a fine-mesh, nut milk bag, or double-layer cheesecloth and squeeze over a sealable container (be aware that turmeric will likely stain the straining material)

Consume immediately, or transfer your batch of superfood shots into the fridge. When ready to drink, add a tablespoon of fresh spirulina to each serving, followed by a crack of freshly ground black pepper. Enjoy!
